Mental Health \u2013 Brandishing a Weapon \u2013 Case# 240722349<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\nOfficers responded to a report of a suspect having a mental health crisis armed with an ax. Officers arrived and saw the suspect holding onto the ax. The officers deployed the Extended Range Impact Weapon (bean bag), which had no effect. The suspect eventually dropped the ax and ran. The officer chased after the suspect when he brandished a knife at the officers. The suspect eventually dropped the knife. The suspect was later taken to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.<\/span><\/p>\n
