\nOfficers responded to a report of a suspect brandishing a knife. The suspect had placed the victim in a chokehold and threatened him with a knife. The suspect then released the victim and fled the scene. Officers located the suspect with the assistance of bystanders. The victim declined to press charges and could not positively identify the suspect. The suspect was transported for a mental health detention.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nOfficers responded to a report of someone firing a gun into the air. A witness informed the officers that there had been a loud argument followed by the sound of a gunshot. However, the officers were unable to locate any shell casings or victims. They did find a person walking away from the area and detained them. The person being detained stated that a suspect had hit him and that someone from the neighborhood fired a gun to scare the suspect away. The victim appeared to have an altered mental state and was uncooperative.<\/span><\/p>\n
