\n 1500 45th Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n A woman reported she received a recorded phone call message allegedly from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The message asked her to \u2018key\u2019 in the \u2018following\u2019 prompts. She hung-up.<\/span><\/p>\n

Burglary<\/span><\/strong>
\n 7:53 am<\/span><\/strong>
\n 1600 37th Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n An officer responded to a report of a burglary at an office. The officer determined an unknown suspect gained entry by breaking a window open. An item was missing from inside.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bomb Threat<\/span><\/strong>
\n 7:57 am<\/span><\/strong>
\n 400 Sargent St<\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers responded to a report of a bomb threat at a school. The campus was evacuated. A search by bomb detecting canines revealed no explosive devices.<\/span><\/p>\n

Burglary<\/span><\/strong>
\n 10:28am<\/span><\/strong>
\n 1200 Ortega St<\/span><\/strong>
\n An officer responded to a report of a burglary at a school. A recorded surveillance footage showed a man enter through an unlocked front door. The man goes into an unoccupied room empty handed and then exits while carrying someone else\u2019s belonging. The suspect then leaves the campus.<\/span>
\nSuspect: Light skin male; 20-30 years; LSW gray beanie, blue \u201cCode America\u201d sweatshirt, light color shorts<\/span><\/p>\n

Possession of a Weapon on School Grounds-Possession of a Controlled Substance<\/span><\/strong>
\n 11:00 am<\/span><\/strong>
\n 2100 24th Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n An officer responded to a report of a student found in possession of an unlawful weapon and a controlled substance. A school dean had detained a student for the above violations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Threat to Harm<\/span><\/strong>
\n 11:24 am<\/span><\/strong>
\n 300 Ralston St<\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers responded to a report of a threat. A woman received threatening messages from her former boyfriend to harm her. The messages were relayed over a cellular phone video \u2018chat\u2019 service. He was not at the scene nor in nearby areas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fraud<\/span><\/strong>
\n 11:49 am<\/span><\/strong>
\n 1500 7th Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n A man walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. An unknown person opened an account with a telephone service carrier with his identity without his permission. He was made aware of what happened when he received a letter demanding he pay an overdue balance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Theft<\/span><\/strong>
\n 12:03 pm<\/span><\/strong>
\n 700 Taraval St<\/span><\/strong>
\n An officer responded to a report of a shoplifting. A known shoplifter was seen exiting a store with unpaid merchandise items. The shoplifter then returned and showed a random receipt to a clerk in an attempt to get a grocery bag. A store manager detained the shoplifter. Officers recorded the shoplifter\u2019s identity. The manager then refused further police action.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vandalism<\/span><\/strong>

\n 300 De Montfort Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n A woman reported when she returned to her parked and locked vehicle, its passenger side window was smashed. No property was taken from inside.<\/span><\/p>\n

Battery<\/span><\/strong>

\n 100 Aptos Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n An officer responded to a report of a battery in front of a school. A student pushed a teacher numerous times.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fraud<\/span><\/strong>
\n 12:55pm<\/span><\/strong>
\n 3200 20th Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers responded to a report of a fraud. A person whom earlier used a fraudulent debit card to make a purchase attempted to do the same again. When employees tried to authenticate his identity, the suspect left the store.<\/span>
\nSuspect: Hispanic male; 30-40 years; 5\u20196\u201d tall; 230 lbs; LSW black jacket, blue jeans<\/span><\/p>\n

Theft<\/span><\/strong>
\n 2:31pm<\/span><\/strong>
\n Funston St and Irving St<\/span><\/strong>
\n A woman reported her purse and its contents were stolen out of a grocery cart.<\/span><\/p>\n

Burglary<\/span><\/strong>
\n 4:37pm<\/span><\/strong>
\n 2400 41st Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers responded to a report of a burglary. A man walked into a shared garage and saw his bicycle and two other bicycles\u2013each belonging to two of his roommates, missing. The next day on February 2nd he saw a male suspect and a female suspect each ride two of the three stolen bicycles. He confronted the suspects and was able to recover one of the bicycles. The suspects fled.<\/span>
\nSuspect #1: Hispanic or Middle Eastern male; 20-30 years; 6\u20191\u201d tall; 175 lbs; black hair; brown eyes; LSW red rain jacket, black pants; scruffy and unshaven<\/span>
\n Suspect #2: White female; 25-35 years; 5\u20196\u201d tall; 130 lbs; blond hair; blue eyes; LSW yellow rain jacket, dark pants, curly long \u2018poofy\u2019 hair, crown or tiara on head<\/span><\/p>\n

Attempted Burglary<\/span><\/strong>
\n 5:10 pm<\/span><\/strong>
\n 700 Mount Vernon Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers responded to a report of an attempted burglary. A woman returned to her locked and secured home and saw the front and rear gates were damaged. However there were no signs of an unauthorized entry into the house.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mental Health Detention<\/span><\/strong>
\n 5:26 pm<\/span><\/strong>
\n 1200 19th Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers responded to a report of a suicidal person. Officers determined the person was a danger to oneself and therefore transported the person to a psychiatric care center for a mental health evaluation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mental Health Detention<\/span><\/strong>
\n 5:48 pm<\/span><\/strong>
\n 300 Lakeview Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers responded to a report of a mentally unstable person acting aggressively. Officers determined the person was a danger to others and therefore transported him to a psychiatric care center for mental health evaluation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Resist, Delay, Obstruct Peace Officer-Double Parking-Expired Registration<\/span><\/strong>
\n 6:37 pm<\/span><\/strong>
\n 100 Lobos St<\/span><\/strong>
\n An officer stopped a vehicle for double parking. A record check revealed the vehicle\u2019s registration was expired. The driver exited the vehicle and attempted to leave.<\/span> Officers took custody of the man and he was arrested and released for the above violations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Driving Without a License<\/span><\/strong>
\n 8:06pm<\/span><\/strong>
\n 19th Ave and Buckingham Wy<\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision. A record check revealed one of the involved drivers did not have a license.<\/span> He was arrested and released for the above violation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Theft From Person<\/span><\/strong>
\n 8:20 pm<\/span><\/strong>
\n 19th Ave and Holloway Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n A woman walked into Taraval Station report a theft. She was waiting in a line to board a MUNI bus when she felt an unknown person brush up against her backpack. She immediately checked her backpack and saw a belonging missing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hot Prowl Burglary<\/span><\/strong>
\n 9:38pm<\/span><\/strong>
\n 2500 41st Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers responded to a report of a burglary. A victim was inside a home near a partially opened window when she saw hands push through the blinds and slide the window open. She yelled she will dial 911. She heard two males voices speak softly in English. The men then fled.<\/span>
\nSuspect #1: Black male; 5\u20194\u201d tall; 150 lbs<\/span>
\n Suspect #2: Unknown race male<\/span><\/p>\n
