Warrant Arrest-Unlawful Left Turn-Arrested<\/span><\/strong>

\n 19th Ave & Lawton St<\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers stopped a vehicle for making an unlawful turn. A record check revealed the driver had an arrest warrant. The driver was arrested for the warrant.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Fraud<\/span><\/strong>
\n 9:58 am<\/span><\/strong>
\n 1800 19th Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n A man walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. A suspect cashed fraudulent checks at a bank. The checks contained the name and account number of an actual business.<\/span>
\nSuspect \u2013 \u201cMegan Nears\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Theft-Arrested<\/span><\/strong>
\n 12:00 pm<\/span><\/strong>
\n 2300 Noriega St<\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting. A suspect picked up a food item and exited without paying. Officers found and detained the suspect.<\/span> A store employee placed the suspect under citizen\u2019s arrest for shoplifting.<\/span> Officers took custody and then released the suspect.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fraud<\/span><\/strong>
\n 5:25 pm<\/span><\/strong>
\n 1400 44th Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n A woman walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. A suspect cashed a check that belonged to the woman without permission. And a wire transfer was made from the woman’s checking account without her permission.<\/span>
\nSuspect \u2013 “Rachel Barnes”<\/span><\/p>\n

Battery<\/strong>
\n 7:35 pm<\/strong>
\n 9th Ave & Irving St<\/strong>
\n Officers responded to a report of a battery. A homeless man punched a victim and knocked him to the ground. The victim had made a comment about the homeless man to another person. The homeless man became upset and an argument ensued. After punching the man, the homeless suspect fled the scene on foot. The victim was transported to a hospital.<\/span>
\nSuspect \u2013 White male :: 50-60 years :: 5\u201910\u201d tall :: 175 lbs :: gray hair :: gray eyes :: LSW red scarf or blanket, black jacket, green pants, bare foot :: homeless<\/span><\/p>\n

\n 1000 Ocean Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person. A man who previously exposed himself to a cashier at a cafe was at the scene. Officers detained the man. A record check revealed he had arrest warrants.<\/span> He was arrested for the warrants.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n 19th Ave & Holloway Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n A man walked into Taraval Station to report a pickpocket theft. He was riding in a crowded MUNI bus when the theft occurred.<\/span><\/p>\n

Suspicious Occurrence<\/span><\/strong>
\n 11:04 pm<\/span><\/strong>
\n 900 Lawton St<\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers responded to a request for a well being check. An elderly woman was outrageously overbilled for work on a furnace done by an unauthorized service provider. Her son-in-law indicated the woman was suffering from early stages of dementia. The woman was in her open garage earlier in the day when a truck pulled-up and its two occupants asked her if any work needed to be done on her furnace. She replied the filter needed to be replaced. The workers claimed they did extra work. However none of the extra work appeared to have been completed.<\/span>

\n 2:33 pm \/ 1400 19th Ave \/ forced entry by breaking lock<\/span><\/p>\n
