\n 2900 Taraval St<\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers responded to a report of a fight between two males. Officers met with one male standing on the sidewalk and saw another fleeing the area. The officers detained the fleeing suspect and he stated that he punched the other suspect once, in an attempt to get away from him. The officers offered medical attention but he declined any\u00a0assistance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Child Abuse<\/span><\/strong>
\n 9:30 am<\/span><\/strong>
\n 300 Brighton Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers responded to a report of child abuse. The reportee, who is the victim\u2019s mother, alleged that her ex-husband had inflicted bruises\u00a0on their\u00a0child.<\/span><\/p>\n

Accidental Death<\/span><\/strong>
\n 9:58 am<\/span><\/strong>
\n 1200 34th Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers responded to a report of a death. Officers met with medics at the scene. The officers determined that the victim accidentally slipped down a staircase. The medical examiner arrived on scene and took over the investigation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Under the Influence of Alcohol in a Public Place – Arrest<\/span><\/strong>
\n 12:43 pm<\/span><\/strong>
\n 800 Irving St & 9th St<\/span><\/strong>
\n An officer responded to a report of a man being aggressive, screaming, and spitting. Officer made contact with the suspect and determined the suspect to be intoxicated of alcohol and was unable to care for himself. The officer arrested the individual.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Robbery with Force – Arrest<\/span><\/strong>
\n 4:25 pm<\/span><\/strong>
\n 1200 Ocean Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers responded to a report of robbery at a restaurant. Officers met all parties and detained the suspect. The suspect stole food from the victim when she went to order a drink. She confronted the suspect and he hit her twice on the face with a clenched fist and walked away. The officers arrested the suspect for robbery.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Theft Shoplifting – Warrant Arrest<\/span><\/strong>
\n 7:37 pm<\/span><\/strong>
\n 1300 Irving St<\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers responded to a report of a theft at a supermarket store. The officers met with a loss prevention employee who had the suspect in custody. The employee stated that he observed the suspect take multiple items of merchandise and walk out of the store. The officers took custody of the suspect and discovered he had a warrants. The officers arrested the suspect for the theft and warrants.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Battery – Arrest<\/span><\/strong>

\n 1400 48th Ave<\/span><\/strong>
\n Multiple officers responded to a report of a battery. Officers met with the couple. They both stated the circumstances surrounding their physical confrontation. The officers determined the suspected male to be the primary aggressor and arrested him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
