Gambling – Possession of Gambling Devices – Permit Violation<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 8:00 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1900 Ocean Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers arrived at a local business to conduct a permit inspection. Upon entering the business, the officers met with the owner, the manager and an employee. The officers observed gambling machines and asked them for their permits for the machines. They could not provide any permits to the officers. The officers took pictures of the scene and booked the evidence.<\/span><\/p>\n

Embezzlement \u2013 Grand Theft<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 9:37 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 2000 Taraval St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n The owner stated that a previous employee had been stealing money from the company. He stated that he just found out, as he had just acquired the business recently.<\/span>
\n Suspect \u2013 Hispanic male :: 32-33 years :: 5\u201910\u201d tall :: 340 lbs :: black hair :: brown eyes<\/span><\/p>\n

Theft-Shoplifting – Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 5:19 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1200 Irving St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Loss prevention observed a suspect taking items from the store without paying for them\u00a0The Loss Prevention employee restrained the suspect\u00a0and officers arrived on scene to\u00a0cite the suspect for the above mentioned violation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Death Report<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 5:29 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 100 Granada Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n The victim\u2019s son stated that his father started breathing hard and was in the process of\u00a0\u00a0taking\u00a0him to the hospital when the victim suddenly stopped breathing. Medic arrived on scene and was unable to revive the victim. Medical examiners arrived on scene and then took over the investigation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Battery – Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 6:51 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Ocean Ave & Sunset Blvd<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Three victims were on scene and stated that the suspects approached them\u00a0while they were on the MUNI bus and started a <\/span>physical confrontation with them for an unspecified reason. The MUNI driver called 911\u00a0and\u00a0officers cited six suspects, who were minors, for battery and released them to their guardians.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speeding – Suspended Drivers License – Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 10:18 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 19th Ave & Denslowe St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n An officer observed a vehicle speeding above the posted speed limit. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and a\u00a0computer check on the driver revealed that the driver\u2019s license was suspended. The officer cited the driver for the above mentioned violations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Battery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 10:54 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 00 West Portal Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n The victim and witness stated that an unknown suspect had struck the victim on the face multiple times until he fell to the ground. A witness also observed the suspect kick the victim on the face before he fled\u00a0the scene. The officers summoned medical personnel for the victim and searched the area for the suspect with no results.<\/span>

Headlight Inoperable – Tail Lights Inoperable – Expired registration Tabs – No Drivers License – Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 11:50 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Irving St and 29th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n An officer observed a vehicle with inoperable head and tail lights. As the officer drove closer to the vehicle, the officer also noticed the vehicle\u2019s registration tab was also expired. The officer conducted a traffic stop\u00a0and a\u00a0computer check on driver revealed that the driver never had a license issued. The officer cited the driver for the above mentioned violations.<\/span><\/p>\n
