Possession of Stolen Property – Possession of Burglary Tools – Methamphetamine Offensive – Arrest<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 2:29 PM<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Winston St & Stonecrest Dr.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers observed a vehicle speeding and making unsafe lane changes. When the officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the suspect refused\u00a0to pull over. After a few more blocks the suspect finally stopped\u00a0and\u00a0told the officers that he had\u00a0\u201cmeth\u201d in his pockets.\u00a0\u00a0A bent shaved key, commonly used in stealing cars, was also found in the suspects pocket. Officers placed the suspect in handcuffs\u00a0and a\u00a0computer check revealed that the suspect did not have a valid driver\u2019s license. It was also later determined that the vehicle the suspect was driving\u00a0was an unreported stolen vehicle. The suspect was arrested for the numerous vehicle violation, stolen vehicle, drug possession, and possession of stolen property and burglary tools.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Drug possession \u2013 Under the Influence of Alcohol \u2013 Arrest<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 9:20 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 19th Ave & Irving St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a known drunk person in the area acting aggressively. Officers located the suspect who was indeed and obviously intoxicated. While being\u00a0was transported to jail,\u00a0the suspect\u00a0informed\u00a0the officers that he better get his “weed and pipe\u201d back when he was\u00a0released from jail. The officers searched the suspect and located the suspected marijuana and glass pipe. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Carrying a Concealed Weapon While Loitering \u2013 Investigative Detention \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 4:38 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1300 La Playa St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to the area regarding a possible burglary. The officers arrived and located the suspects that matched the descriptions given to them. The suspect was located inside the gate that lead to the apartments\u00a0and a\u00a0cursory search revealed that one of the suspects had a folding knife. The suspect was cited and released for loitering with a weapon.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

No right turn on red \u2013 No Licenses Issued \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1:00am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Irving St & 19Th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officer observed a vehicle making a turn in violation of the \u201cno turn on red\u201d sign. A computer check on the driver revealed that no driver’s license\u00a0had been issued to him. The driver was cited and released.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n 3:05 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 300 Bright St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n The victim reported that she received a phone call from a suspect pretending to be from the IRS. The suspect threatened to arrest the victim if she did\u00a0not pay the “back taxes” they accused of her owing. Out of fear, the\u00a0victim bought gift cards and provided the suspect with the gift card numbers and security information in payment for the “back taxes”.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n 00 Madrone Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n The victim reported that he was approached by the suspect at Stonestown Galleria Mall. The suspect convinced\u00a0the victim to cash a check for him and immediately transfer the funds to the suspect before the check had a chance to be cleared. \u00a0The victim agreed but\u00a0the check cashed was fraudulent;\u00a0the bank was not able to\u00a0distribute the\u00a0money to the victim.\u00a0 <\/span>
\n Suspect \u2013 white male :: 22-24 years :: 5\u20198\u201d tall :: 160 lbs :: blond hair<\/span><\/p>\n

\n The victim reported that an unknown suspect had wire transferred a large amount of money from the victim’s\u00a0accounts to an unknown location.<\/span><\/p>\n
