Traffic Violation \u2013 Suspended Driver\u2019s License \u2013 Cited<\/strong><\/span>
\n 4:45 pm<\/strong><\/span>
\n 2200 41st Ave<\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were in the area when they observed a vehicle making an unsafe turn. The officers conducted a traffic stop\u00a0and a\u00a0computer check on the driver revealed his driver\u2019s license had been suspended.\u00a0 The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Battery – arrested<\/strong><\/span>
\n 8:59pm<\/strong><\/span>
\n 10th Ave<\/strong><\/span>
\n Officer responded to a report of battery between couples. The victim stated that the suspect went out drinking instead of doing the laundry. When the suspect returned home, they had another argument and the suspect began hitting the victim. The victim managed to push the suspect outside the home and locked the door. The officers arrested the suspect for battery.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Assault \u2013 False Imprisonment – Warrant Arrest \u2013 Arrested<\/strong><\/span>
\n 11:25 pm<\/strong><\/span>
\n 44th Ave<\/strong><\/span>
\n Officer responded to a report of an assault. The victim stated that she had just parked her vehicle and was starting to walk\u00a0home. The\u00a0suspect suddenly ran up to her and forcefully pinned her against the wall. Once pinned, the suspect grabbed at her body and attempted\u00a0to rape her. The victim screamed for help which caused\u00a0somebody to turn\u00a0on their\u00a0porch light. This scared the\u00a0suspect and he ran off. Officers searched the area for the suspect, located him and arrested him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Trespassing \u2013 Cited<\/strong><\/span>

\n 2000 28th Ave<\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a trespasser. Responding officers recognized the address where they had responded to numerous times as it had a history of a suspect trying to gain entry to the house and refusing to leave when told so. Upon arrival, the known suspect was present. The victim told the officer that the suspect had rung the door bell to gain\u00a0entry and retrieve his items from his ex-wife. The victim stated that they had just moved in and neither he nor his ex-wife ever lived\u00a0there, at that location, in the past. The suspect was cited for trespassing\u00a0and for\u00a0refusing to leave.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
