Traffic Violation \u2013 Resisting or Delaying \u2013 Battery on a Police Officer – Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 4:03 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Lake Merced Blvd & Sunset Blvd<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nAn\u00a0officer was conducting LIDAR enforcement when he observed a vehicle traveling at 45 mph in a 30 mph zone. The officer attempted to pull over the driver but the driver continued driving. When the driver eventually\u00a0stopped her vehicle, she started arguing with the officer regarding why she was pulled over. The officer showed the driver the readout on the LIDAR as proof but\u00a0the driver grabbed the officer’s wrist. The driver then refused to sign the citation and wouldn’t comply until after being advised that she would be arrested instead of being cited. The driver was cited for the traffic violation, resisting and battery.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Traffic Violation \u2013 Resisting or Delaying \u2013 Under the Influence in Public \u2013 Assault – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 1600 46th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a male laying on the front yard, snoring and with\u00a0his pants half down. When officers arrived, the officers determined that the suspect was intoxicated. The suspect was woken up and requested\u00a0to sit on the ground\u00a0but he refused to do so, tried to stand instead and became\u00a0hostile. The officers determined that the\u00a0suspect was unable to take care of himself and should be placed in the detox cell. At the station, the suspect began to be combative and started kicking the officers. The suspect was subsequently arrested and transported to county jail for the above charges.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Attempted Robbery of a Commercial Establishment<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 1200 Ocean Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a robbery in progress\u00a0but prior\u00a0to the arrival of the officers, the suspect fled the scene. The victims stated that they heard the door open\u00a0and close before seeing the\u00a0suspect walking in with a gun. The victim stated that they were able to flee the store\u00a0and did not see which direction the suspect fled when he exited the store.\u00a0 <\/span>
\n Suspect \u2013 Black male :: 30-40 years :: 5\u201910\u201d tall :: 190 lbs<\/span><\/p>\n
