Firearm Possession \u2013 Marijuana Offense – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 12:52 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 2300 28th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n A sergeant was driving in the area when he observed a suspect acting suspiciously and casting multiple glances and doubling back to watch the sergeant and \u00a0trying to track the direction the sergeant was heading. \u00a0The sergeant made a U-turn and observed the suspect running across the street mid block toward a\u00a0vehicle. The sergeant decided to talk to the suspect about jay-walking. As the sergeant approached the vehicle, a strong odor of marijuana emanated from the vehicle. The suspect told the sergeant that he was on probation\u00a0which was confirmed by a\u00a0computer check. The sergeant executed a probation search and\u00a0also located a loaded firearm in the vehicle\u2019s trunk. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Junipero Serra Blvd & Sloat Blv<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n An officer was patrolling when he noticed a vehicle driving through a solid red light. The officer conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that she had never been issued a drivers license. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Junipero Serra Blvd & 19th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n An officer was patrolling when he noticed a vehicle with an obstruction hanging from the rear view mirror. The officer conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he had never been issued a drivers license. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Battery – Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 2:41 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 100 West Portal Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim stated that she was walking down the street when suddenly the suspect hit her once behind the head and continued walking. The victim pointed out to where the suspect was. The suspect was cited for the battery.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n 11:50 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Broad St & Orizaba St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim stated that a known suspect had called her names and then purposely spilled a drink on her. The victim, in turn, spilled her drink on him. The suspect punched the\u00a0victim and left the scene.<\/span><\/p>\n

Robbery with Force<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 12:11 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1500 45th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a fight on the street. Upon arrival, the victim told the officers that he had been walking down the street when the suspect suddenly came from behind and punched him in the face. When the\u00a0victim fell to the floor, the suspect unsuccessfully \u00a0tried to pull the victim’s\u00a0backpack off. \u00a0The victim said that someone yelled out and the suspect ran away\u00a0however the\u00a0suspect was able to steal the victim\u2019s cell phone.<\/span>

Battery \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 2200 Vicente St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a battery. When the officers arrived, one party said that she was taking her garage out when the second party called her names and slapped her forearm. The second party said that earlier in the day, party number one called him names and pushed him as he walked by. Both parties wanted to press charges. Both parties were cited for battery.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Assault<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 2200 Vicente St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Victim came to Taraval Station to report an assault. The victim said that when she opened her\u00a0front gate the suspect, her neighbor, rushed towards her, made a comment\u00a0and then\u00a0pushed the gate which caused it to hit the victim\u2019s forearm.<\/span><\/p>\n

Weapons on School Ground – Admonished<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 100 Aptos Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a student in possession of\u00a0a weapon at school. The dean of the school told the officers that they received a tip that a student was in possession of a bb gun. A search\u00a0of the student revealed an\u00a0airsoft bb gun with pellets. The dean told the officers that the students had been admonished.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Burglary<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 6:46 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 4200 Pacheco St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The victim stated that she was in her bedroom when she was woken up by noises coming from the next bedroom. This worried her and caused her to get up\u00a0to\u00a0close and lock her door. The victim then called her housemate who denied that they were making the noises.\u00a0\u00a0The victim stated that the garage door may have been left open due to mechanical issues.<\/span><\/p>\n
