Assault – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1:06 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 4000 Moraga St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of fight.\u00a0The\u00a0victim stated\u00a0he was visiting his friend\u2019s house. The friend, who is the owner of the building and lives downstairs, rented out two bedrooms and the living room to the suspect. The kitchen and bathroom, however, are common areas\u00a0and the victim’s friend lives\u00a0downstairs. When the\u00a0victim and the friend went up stairs to use the bathroom, they found the suspect blocking\u00a0the doorway. The suspect pushed the victim, which almost caused the victim to\u00a0fall backwards and back down the stairs. The victim stated that he didn\u2019t want to get pushed again so he forced his way past the doorway\u00a0and was\u00a0tossed on the ground and punched\u00a0in the face by the suspect. <\/span><\/p>\n

The suspect claimed that the victim came after him with a knife which was why he tossed the victim on the floor and punched him.\u00a0After investigating the incident, the\u00a0officer determined that the suspect had an inconsistent\u00a0statements.<\/span> The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n
