Driving Under the Influence \u2013 Traffic Collision \u2013 Traffic Violation \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 2:44 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1300 43rd Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision. Upon arrival, the\u00a0officers\u00a0observed an overturned vehicle and parked vehicles which\u00a0were damaged. While speaking\u00a0to the driver, who was being treated by medics, the reporting officer\u00a0noted that the\u00a0driver had bloodshot and watery eyes with a distinct odor of alcohol on her\u00a0breath. After questioning, the driver admitted to having had a couple of drinks an hour prior to incident and driving. \u00a0After further investigation, it was determined that the driver was indeed intoxicated while driving.\u00a0\u00a0 The driver was transported to SFGH for medical treatment and a blood draw. Based on the driver\u2019s injuries and investigation, she was cited for DUI and the vehicle violation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Trespassing \u2013 Resisting Arrest \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 7:37 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1800 Irving St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nAn officer responded to a report of a known homeless trespasser, with a history of brandishing knives, who was refusing to leave a store.\u00a0On arrival, the\u00a0officer observed the suspect sitting on a chair with blankets covering his hands. The manager of the store tried to ask the suspect leave earlier but failed.\u00a0\u00a0The reporting officer also requested\u00a0the suspect to leave the store but was refused.\u00a0\u00a0The officer\u00a0ordered\u00a0the suspect to remove his blankets to make sure there were no concealed weapons\u00a0but the suspect again refused.\u00a0The officer\u00a0tried\u00a0to\u00a0forcefully remove\u00a0the blankets but\u00a0the suspect push the officer away. After a brief struggle, the officer was able to put flex cuffs on the suspect. The\u00a0suspect was then transported to Taraval Station where a computer check on the suspect was conducted. The suspect was later cited for trespassing and resisting arrest<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Driving Under the Influence \u2013 Traffic Violation \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 10:13 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 3800 19th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a hit and run incident. A San Francisco State officer located a vehicle that matched the description given. The reporting officer interviewed the driver who stated\u00a0that he only had 4\u00a0or\u00a05 beers. The driver appeared unsteady on his feet\u00a0with\u00a0blood shot and watery eyes and slurred speech. The officer conducted a sobriety test, which the driver failed.\u00a0The driver was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Robbery \u2013 Battery – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 9:34 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 2300 Noriega St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nAn officer responded to a report of a shoplifter. The victim, a security guard, saw the suspect bring\u00a0a basket filled with groceries\u00a0into the store’s bathroom. Following the suspect, the\u00a0victim observed the\u00a0suspect placing numerous grocery items into his backpack. The victim demanded\u00a0the suspect to return the items and there was a struggle over the groceries and the backpack. During the struggle, the suspect bit the victim\u2019s hands and threatened to harm the victim\u00a0if he didn\u2019t let go. The suspect finally pushed\u00a0past the victim and exited the store\u00a0but\u00a0responding officers were able to locate the suspect and retrieved the stolen items. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
