Driving Under the Influence \u2013 Carry Concealed Weapon \u2013 Battery on an Officer \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 10:07 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Lawton St & 19th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle making a left turn at an intersection which\u00a0prohibited left turns. When an\u00a0officer approached the vehicle, there was a strong alcoholic smell\u00a0from the inside the vehicle. When the officer spoke to the driver, she exhibited\u00a0signs of being intoxicated. Officers conducted a field sobriety test on the driver, which the driver failed. The driver became belligerent and would not listen to the officer’s instructions. The suspect, at one point, used her knee to strike at an officer. During\u00a0a search of the vehicle, a long knife hidden by the driver\u2019s seat was located. The suspect was arrested<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers responded to a report of an argument. The employee told the officers that the suspect was being verbally argumentive and aggressive towards the bar’s patrons. Officers spoke to the suspect, who exhibited obvious signs of intoxication. The suspect initially was to be detained\u00a0at the Drunk\u00a0Tank for 4 hours\u00a0but a search of the suspect revealed brass knuckles and the\u00a0suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Robbery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 2:07 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 200 Sagamore St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim said that the suspect was arguing with him about an item that the\u00a0suspect had purchased from him a while ago\u00a0but was\u00a0not satisfied with the purchase. The suspect then grabbed other items from the garage and attempted to leave. The victim tried to stop the suspect, but the suspect struck the victim and fled the scene.<\/span><\/p>\n
