Burglary \u2013 Probation Violation \u2013 Possession of Burglary Tools \u2013 Arrest<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 3:13 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1900 Ocean Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a person breaking into a restaurant. When officers arrived, they noticed the broken door\u00a0and\u00a0heard someone still inside the restaurant. The officers removed the\u00a0suspect from the\u00a0restaurant and arrested him. A computer check on the suspect revealed that he was on probation for burglary. When the officers continued their search of the restaurant,\u00a0they located the suspect’s cell phone\u00a0which was running\u00a0application that transmitted\u00a0police radio signals. Officers located the suspect’s vehicle and a search revealed\u00a0the victim\u2019s property as well as\u00a0numerous items commonly used to\u00a0aid burglaries. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Vehicle Violation \u2013 No Driver\u2019s Licenses – Cited<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\n 10:19 pm<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\n 19th Ave & Sloat Blvd<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers were in the area when they observed a vehicle with expired registration. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that she did not have a driver\u2019s license. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Robbery \u2013 Attempted<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 11:41 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Randolph St & Byxbee St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officer responded to a call of a robbery. The victim said that the suspect came up from behind her, nudged her and caused her to fall\u00a0on the ground. The suspect then tried to grab the victim\u2019s cell phone, but failed. The victim got up and ran away.<\/span><\/p>\n

Battery – Theft<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 8:53 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Montana St & Capitol Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim said that he was involved in a vehicle collision. The victim excited the vehicle and was about to exchange information with the suspect\u00a0but the\u00a0suspect began to yelling at him. The suspect got back into his vehicle and started driving away. The victim\u00a0said he followed the suspect\u00a0and the suspect stopped\u00a0his vehicle and confronted the victim before\u00a0punching the victim. The victim said that he fought back\u00a0and dropped his cell phone during\u00a0the fight. The passenger of the suspect’s vehicle picked up the victim’s cell phone and ran to their vehicle. The suspect also got back into his vehicle\u00a0and drove away.<\/span><\/p>\n
