\n Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle traveling over 50 mph in a 35 mph zone. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle without a front license plate. The offices conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his driver’s license was suspended. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 43rd Ave & Sloat Blvd<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle that was double parked illegally\u00a0and\u00a0conducted a traffic stop. While speaking to the driver and passenger, they smelled a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. A computer check<\/span> revealed that driver was on probation. The officers also searched the vehicle for\u00a0contraband and located\u00a0a loaded hand gun in the middle consol. <\/span>Both occupants of the vehicle were arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim said that he and his father, the suspect, had been in an argument because he did not go to his volunteer’s\u00a0job at the food bank. The victim said that the argument escalated to where the suspect grabbed him and slapped him once on his face. The suspect said that his son was being lazy and wanted to impress upon a sense of responsibility to his son. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
