Resisting or Delaying Officer Duties \u2013 Traffic Violation \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Officers responded to a report of an assault. The witness reported that he saw the suspect trying to punch the victim. The officers located\u00a0the suspect and victim while they were walking across the street against a\u00a0red light\u00a0and\u00a0attempted to catch up with them. However,\u00a0the suspect and victim saw the police and started running away. Officers gave chase and caught up with the suspect. The suspect admitted that he\u00a0had an argument with the victim, but never hit her. \u00a0The suspect was cited for a traffic violation and delaying officer\u2019s duties.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Driving while Intoxicated \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 43rd & Taraval St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of an accident. The driver said that the he missed the brake\u00a0and accidentally hit the accelerator instead. While speaking to the driver, the officer smelled\u00a0the odor of alcoholic beverages\u00a0and\u00a0conducted a DUI investigation. The driver was arrested for \u00a0driving while intoxicated.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

False Identification to Officer – Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 3200 20th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a possible fraud incident. The victim said that the suspect approached and asked him to cash a check for her and offered\u00a0$200 for his trouble. The victim agreed\u00a0but\u00a0began having second thoughts about the incident and called the police. The officers located\u00a0suspect for questioning. The suspect initially gave a false name\u00a0but the\u00a0officers investigated and learned\u00a0the suspect\u2019s true identity. The suspect was cited for proving false information.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Vehicle Violation \u2013 No Driver\u2019s License issued<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 7:21 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Sunset Blvd & Lake Merced Blvd<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were patrolling\u00a0when they observed a vehicle failing to make a complete stop at a posted stop sign. A computer check on the driver revealed that the driver was driving without a license. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
