Loss Prevention Agent told the officers that he observed the suspect select numerous items and attempt to walk out of the store without paying for them. Loss Prevention Agent stated that he confronted the suspect and attempted to detain the suspect\u00a0but the suspect\u00a0became verbally aggressive and threatened to punch the Loss Prevention Agent. Therefor, Lost Prevention Agent attempted to grab the stolen items back\u00a0but the\u00a0suspect pulled away violently and fled the scene. \u00a0Responding officers arrived and located the suspect. A search of the suspect revealed possession of multiple tools used to\u00a0defeat security tags and to break into vehicles.
