Possession of Marijuana for Sale \u2013 Resisting or Delaying Officers Duty \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 7:37 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 300 Sargent St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol when they observed a known suspect\u00a0with a history of\u00a0selling marijuana. The officers approached the suspect and asked the suspect if he had any marijuana on him. The suspect didn\u2019t answer but quicken his pace. The officers stopped their\u00a0car and exited the vehicle,\u00a0which caused the\u00a0suspect to\u00a0start running. Officers gave chase and the suspect tripped which caused\u00a0a large bag\u00a0of marijuana to fly\u00a0out from the suspect’s possession and land\u00a0on the ground. <\/span>After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vehicle Violation \u2013 No Driver\u2019s License Issued \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Rivera St & 43rd Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle, driving in the rain, with inoperable lights. Officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that the driver never had a driver\u2019s license issued to him. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Assault \u2013 Threats \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 19th Ave & Taraval St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim said that he was walking across the street when the suspect walked towards him and hit his arm, causing him to drop his drink. The suspect then started following the victim\u00a0and made\u00a0threats about\u00a0killing him and his family. At one point the suspect used his umbrella and made a stabbing motion which hit the victim\u2019s stomach. The suspect was located and arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Children Neglect \u2013 Under the Influence in Public \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 19th Ave & Irving St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated female. The witness reported seeing an intoxicated female taking care of a young, 3-4 year old, child. Officers arrived on scene and located the female and child in question. The officers learned that the intoxicated female was taking care of her niece. The child was not injured, however, the female showed signs\u00a0of intoxication. The child\u2019s mother was contacted and the intoxicated female was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
