Check Forgery \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 2600 18th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n The suspect and victim, who were family members, arrived at\u00a0Taraval Police Station concerned about\u00a0check fraud. The victim stated\u00a0that he is the trustee for the living trust of his step-mother. While checking statements, he\u00a0noticed several unfamiliar charges being posted on\u00a0the account\u00a0which were made out to the\u00a0suspect. The victim confronted the suspect and he admitted to the fraud\u00a0as\u00a0he thought the account was for him. The victim wanted to press charges and the suspect said that he wanted to turn himself in. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Warrant Arrest – Methamphetamine Offense – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Officers responded to a report of several suspects, in a vehicle, acting suspiciously\u00a0around cars in<\/span>\u00a0the area. Officers located the vehicle matching the description given\u00a0and\u00a0conducted surveillance on the vehicle. Soon after, the suspect’s vehicle started driving off and the officers observed that\u00a0the\u00a0vehicle was missing a\u00a0front license plate. The officers conducted a traffic stop\u00a0and a\u00a0computer check revealed that one of the suspects\u00a0had a warrant for his arrest. Officers also located methamphetamine in the vehicle.<\/span>\u00a0The suspect\u00a0was\u00a0arrested for the warrant and for possession of methamphetamine.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
