Driving While Intoxicated \u2013 Vehicle Accident \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Lincoln Way & 10th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a vehicle accident. While the officers\u00a0were interviewing the\u00a0drivers, they located an open bottle of wine and a clear cup inside one of the vehicles. \u00a0The driver\u00a0of that vehicle exhibited obvious signs of intoxication while speaking to the officers and also\u00a0failed the field sobriety test. \u00a0After further tests and investigation, the driver was arrested for driving under the influence.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Vehicle Violation \u2013 Expired Driver\u2019s License \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Capitol Ave & Grafton Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle with expired registration. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed his license had expired. The driver was also unable to show proof of insurance. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Vehicle Violation \u2013 Suspended Driver\u2019s License \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 10;05 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 19th Ave & Lincoln Way<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle making a left turn where left turns were\u00a0not allowed. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed his license had been suspended. The driver was also unable to show proof of insurance. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n 8:40 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Santa Clara Ave & San Anselmo Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle failing to make a complete stop at a posted stop sign. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Threats – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 3:13 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 100 Middlefield Dr<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report that the suspect, who previously had made verbal threats, was back at the\u00a0location. An officer responded and located the vehicle with the suspect inside. The suspect confirmed making the comments, but he did not believe they were threatening. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers responded to a domestic violence incident. The victim stated\u00a0that the suspect was angry and accused him of cheating\u00a0before grabbing a knife and stabbing him in his arms. \u00a0The suspect stated\u00a0the officers that the victim was trying to make advances\u00a0but the suspect said “no”. The suspect also said that victim slapped her\u00a0which caused her to\u00a0grabbed the knife to protect herself against further harm. After further investigation, the officers\u00a0arrested the suspect as the primary aggressor.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers responded to a domestic violence incident. The victim stated that the suspect came home drunk yesterday and started accusing the victim of cheating before kicking the victim and pushing her off the bed.\u00a0 Today, the suspect again accused her of cheating and punched her on her shoulder so hard that she fell backwards. The suspect did want to speak to the officers. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
