Shoplifting \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 3200 20th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter. The witness, a Loss Prevention agent, told the officers that she observed the suspect select numerous items, place them\u00a0in his bag and exited the store without paying. The Lost Prevention detained the suspect and responding officers conducted an investigation before arresting\u00a0the suspect.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Traffic Violation \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 3:15 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 200 Sloat Blvd<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle with a broken headlight. The officers conducted a traffic stop\u00a0but the\u00a0driver did not have identification\u00a0was\u00a0not able to confirm her identity. The driver was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Driving While under the Influence of Alcohol \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 12:10 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Taraval St & 18th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle driving at night without their headlights on and failing to stop at a stop sign. The officers conducted a traffic stop\u00a0and\u00a0observed the driver exhibiting several symptoms of being intoxicated. The officers conducted a field sobriety test on the driver, which the driver\u00a0failed. After further investigation, the driver was arrested for DUI<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Battery – Warrant Arrest \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 12:07 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 2200 Irving St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of someone with a gun. Officers arrived on scene and determined that a retired Sheriff Officer was detaining\u00a0a suspect. The suspect had punched one victim and\u00a0tried to\u00a0attack another\u00a0victim before jumping on top of a vehicle’s hood. The victims told the officer that the suspect wanted passerby to give him money before he started causing problems. A computer check on the suspect revealed that he also has a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
