False Vehicle Registration \u2013 Suspended Drivers License \u2013 Drug Offense \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Faxon Ave & Elmwood Way<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Sergeants were on patrol and randomly picked a vehicle directly in front of them to run a computer check on the license.\u00a0The\u00a0check\u00a0revealed that the last time the vehicle was registered was actually back in 2013. However, the vehicle was displaying\u00a0a current valid registration sticker for 2016. The sergeants conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his driver\u2019s license had been suspended. \u00a0The sergeants also conducted an arrest search\u00a0and\u00a0located cocaine rocks inside the suspect’s socks. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers responded to a report of a fight. The victim, a taxi driver, said that he had picked up the suspect but\u00a0\u00a0suspect fell asleep during the ride. When they arrived at the requested location, the victim woke the suspect up and told him the amount that was owed. The suspect told the victim that he did not have any money, pushed the driver and struck\u00a0him a few times on the chest. The suspect also\u00a0kicked the vehicle and caused\u00a0damages before fleeing the scene. A witness was in the area and followed the suspect and reported to\u00a0the officers. The suspect was located and cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Burglary – Burglary Tools \u2013 Possession of Stolen Property \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 5:24 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1400 Funston Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a burglary. \u00a0The witness stated\u00a0that she was standing by the corner of the street when she\u00a0noticed the suspect using a stick to reach in under the gates to\u00a0steal packages. Officers arrived on scene and located the suspect matching the description given and the stick used to steal packages. A search of the suspect revealed numerous mails that did not belong to the suspect. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim told the officers that she had just gotten off the MUNI bus and was walking home. The victim said that she was about to unlock her\u00a0door when the suspect pulled her back, grabbed her purse and fled to a waiting vehicle. The victim said that she did not hear the suspect because she had earphones on and was listening to music.<\/span><\/p>\n
