Robbery \u2013 Burglary Tools \u2013 Possession of Narcotics and Paraphernalia \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 9:15 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 3200 20th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting\u00a0in progress. Dispatch told the officers that Loss Prevention was fighting the suspect.<\/span><\/p>\n

Loss Prevention agent told the officers that he observed the suspect in\u00a0the store with a duffle bag. The suspect selected three jackets before walking away from the display. The suspect then discarded one of the jackets and got on an\u00a0escalator which caused the\u00a0Loss Prevention to lose sight of the suspect.\u00a0\u00a0 When Loss Prevention saw the suspect again, the suspect\u00a0was only holding onto one of the jackets\u00a0before putting it down and walking\u00a0out of the store. Loss Prevention attempted to detain the suspect, but the suspect pushed him away\u00a0and they got into a struggle.\u00a0 Loss Prevention managed to get the suspect’s duffle bag away\u00a0from the suspect before the responding officers\u00a0arrived and detained the suspect. \u00a0During the arrest search of the suspect, officers \u00a0located heroin and methamphetamine in his pocket. The officer received\u00a0permission from the suspect and searched his bag\u00a0and found\u00a0stolen items\u00a0along with pliers and a glass pipe. The suspect was arrested<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Warrant Arrest \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 7:40 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Taraval St & 32nd Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol when they observed a suspect sitting on a tarp on the sidewalk. Officers approached the suspect and advised him against blocking the sidewalk. Officers obtained the suspect name and a computer check revealed that the suspect had a warrant from Santa Clara County for failing a drug test. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n 1:06 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 100 Sagamore St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol when they observed a Nissan Altima with a broken brake light. Officers conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver. A computer check revealed that the suspect had a warrant from Humboldt County. The driver was arrested<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Trespassing \u2013 Resisting or Delaying Officers Duties \u2013 Warrant Arrest \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 2:10 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 2300 12th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report\u00a0of a trespasser. The victim told the officers that the suspect had been lying in his doorway for the past three days. The victim wanted the suspect arrested for trespassing. Officers attempted to obtain the suspect’s name, but the suspect didn\u2019t bother to reply. At Taraval Station, the officers were able to determine the suspect\u2019s identity and a \u00a0computer check on the suspect revealed that she had 16 warrants for her arrest. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nUndisclosed <\/u><\/strong>
\nOfficers and Sergeants obtained a search warrant on a suspect that was involved in a burglary. Officers and Sergeants executed the search warrant and located numerous items belonging to the victim.\u00a0 The suspect in this incident had already been arrest on a separate incident.\u00a0 New charges will be added.<\/span><\/p>\n
