\nOfficers responded to a report of a battery. The victim told the officer that he had been sitting on the couch in the front lobby when the suspect asked to sit next to the victim. The victim told the suspect no. The suspect got angry and began hitting and scratching the victim. The suspect was advised to make a\u00a0report to the DA\u2019s\u00a0office as the\u00a0incident happened at a group home and the suspect had a history of\u00a0numerous medical issues.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Driving under the Influence \u2013 Traffic Violation \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Yorba St & 39th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a non injury,\u00a0accident. During the exchange of information, one of the drivers did not have insurance and failed to properly exchange all the info. The officers were about to give the suspect a citation, but the driver had already driven away. The officers caught up with\u00a0the driver, and while speaking to him inside the vehicle, they detected a strong odor of an alcoholic emanating from the driver. Officers conducted a field sobriety test on the driver, which he failed. After further investigation and tests, <\/span>the driver was arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vehicle Violation \u2013 Suspended Driver\u2019s License<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 6:50 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle driving without a front license plate. Officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed his license had been suspended. The driver was also unable to show proof of insurance. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
