Possession of Stolen Property \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Officers conducted a follow up investigation and executed a search warrant regarding an incident that occurred a few days prior. During the search, the officers located additional property belonging to victims\u00a0who\u00a0had their vehicle broken it. Additional charges will be added to the suspect who is already in custody.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Probation Violation \u2013 Possession of Cocaine and Marijuana for Sale \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Broad St & Orizaba St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers detained a suspect during an investigation of a shooting. A computer check on the suspect revealed he was\u00a0on probation with a search condition. The officers searched the suspect\u2019s house\u00a0and\u00a0located a backpack filled with marijuana, cocaine, and bullets. Officers also located a scale and large amount of money, which are consistent in the use of\u00a0drug sales. However, the\u00a0suspect denied these\u00a0items\u00a0as belonging\u00a0to him. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter. The witness told the officers that he observed a suspect, with a history of shoplifting, walk into the store. The witness told the suspect to leave, but the suspect\u00a0refused. Officers arrived on scene and the witness told the officers that he wanted to\u00a0press charges. The suspect was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Assault<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 600 Capitol Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to an assault on a referee, the victim. The witness said that the suspect had an argument with the victim prior to the game. During the game, the victim called a Yellow Card on the suspect. The suspect was upset and started started another argument\u00a0with the victim. In response, the\u00a0victim called a yellow card on the suspect a second time\u00a0and also\u00a0a red card. The suspect got angry, punched the victim from behind and fled the scene.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers responded to a report of gunshots. The witness said that he heard three shots and then saw a green vehicle speeding away. Officers searched the area for victims and\u00a0evidence but could not locate\u00a0any. A few minutes later, officers located the green vehicle that was \u00a0witnessed speeding away\u00a0and observed that it had several\u00a0bullet holes and a flat tire. The victim came forward to state\u00a0that someone shot at him but refused to cooperate further with the investigation. It was later discovered\u00a0that the victim was a felon who had previously been arrested for guns and drug sales.<\/span><\/p>\n

Graffiti \u2013 Possession of Graffiti Tools \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Winston Dr & 19th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of two people who had vandalized a utility box with graffiti. Arriving officers located the two suspects matching the description given. The male suspect was observed with\u00a0blue paint on his hands\u00a0and in possession of\u00a0numerous paint markers and a can of spray paint. One of the paint markers exactly matched the color of the graffiti found on the\u00a0utility box. Officers searched and located\u00a0several other\u00a0locations within the city that also had the suspect’s\u00a0moniker\u00a0on\u00a0vandalized utility box. The female suspect said that she was with the male suspect and didn\u2019t have anything else to do with the incident. After further investigation, the female suspect was released and the male suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
