Robbery \u2013 Probation Violation \u2013 Carrying Concealed Weapon \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 11:50 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 500 Ulloa St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a possible, knife related, \u00a0robbery. The victim told the officers that he saw the suspect on his front porch before walking\u00a0off to another\u00a0neighbor\u2019s porch. Once there, the\u00a0suspect stole two Amazon packages that were left there. The victim yelled at the suspect\u00a0and the\u00a0suspect responded by pulling\u00a0back his shirt to reveal\u00a0a large, sheathed, knife. The victim, fearing for his safety, went inside the house. Sergeant and lieutenant responding to the report were nearby and\u00a0located the suspect matching the description. The suspect told the officers that he had a knife on him for protection because he lived\u00a0on the streets. The suspect also expressed guilt because one of the packages was\u00a0a children\u2019s puzzle. Officers transported the suspect back to Taraval Station and located other items that belonged to other victims. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers were on patrol when they conducted a computer check on a vehicle. The check\u00a0which resulted in a report that the vehicle had an expired registration. However, the registration sticker affixed on the license plate was current for this year. The officers conducted a traffic stop\u00a0and the was unable to produce\u00a0a valid\u00a0license, registration, or car insurance. Officers were able to identify the driver and cited him for\u00a0numerous violations.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n 1100 Irving St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Sergeant was on patrol when he observed a bicyclist failing to slow down and completely run a stop sign. The sergeant conducted a traffic stop on the bicyclist. Upon receiving the report, the\u00a0sergeant recognized the bicyclist as felon who was convicted of burglaries and drug related offense. The bicyclist was also riding on a very expensive bicycle\u00a0which\u00a0\u00a0was not reported\u00a0stolen. The bicyclist was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
