Battery \u2013 Resisting Peace Officers \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Faxon Ave & De Montfort Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a fight in progress. Responding Officers\u00a0located the victim and the suspect\u00a0but as the\u00a0officers exited\u00a0their vehicle, the suspect began to flee the scene. After a chase and information from a resident, Responding Officers located\u00a0the suspect hiding in a neighbor’s backyard. While a witness stated that she heard the suspect threaten and hit the victim several times, the victim herself denied having been assaulted by the suspect. After further investigation,<\/span>\u00a0the suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Driving While Under the Influence of Drugs \u2013 No Driver\u2019s License Issued \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Lee Ave & Ocean Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a driver who appeared to be intoxicated. A witness stated that when she saw the suspect and his daughter walking to their vehicle, the suspect was swaying back and forth and seemed to have difficulties walking. \u00a0<\/span>While driving the vehicle, the witness stated that she saw\u00a0the suspect almost hit other vehicles and driving onto the curb. Responding Officers\u00a0located the suspect at a\u00a0gas station with his daughter in the baby seat. Officer conducted a field sobriety test, which the suspect failed. \u00a0However, the suspect passed the preliminary alcohol screening test which led the officers to believe that the suspect was under the influence of drugs instead of alcohol. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
