Trespassing \u2013 Vandalism \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 3:52 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 400 Wawona St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a trespasser at a care home, currently being detained by Security. Responding officers were told that the minister saw the suspect on the premise and notified security. \u00a0Security detained the suspect and\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0determined that the suspect had broken a window to gain entry into the care home.\u00a0After further investigation, the suspect was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Shoplifting \u2013 Warrant Arrest – Arrested & Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 3:22 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 3200 20th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a detained shoplifter. Loss Prevention stated that\u00a0they saw two suspects enter the store and\u00a0select multiple\u00a0items before entering the same fitting room. After the suspects exited the fitting\u00a0room,\u00a0\u00a0Loss Prevention observed that they left behind broken security sensors in the room.\u00a0The suspects tried to exit the store but were detained by Loss Prevention. Responding officers investigated the incident and discovered that one suspect\u00a0had a warrant for his arrest and was arrested, the second\u00a0suspect was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n 8:11 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 3200 20th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a detained shoplifter. Loss Prevention stated that he\u00a0witnessed the suspect walk into a changing room with five\u00a0pieces of the store’s merchandise\u00a0but came back out with only two items visible, which were then placed on the return rack.\u00a0\u00a0The suspect was detained from exiting the store for further investigation. Responding Officers met with Loss Prevention, reviewed the incident and<\/span>\u00a0the suspect was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n 11:30 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 200 Winston Dr<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a theft.\u00a0Loss Prevention stated he witnessed the suspect put store merchandise into the waistband of his pants\u00a0and\u00a0proceeded to exit the store without paying for the items. Loss Prevention detained the suspect from exiting the store for further investigation. Responding Officers met with Loss Prevention, reviewed the incident and discovered that the suspect was a missing juvenile. Officers contacted Juvenile Probation and transported the suspect to the appropriate authorities.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n 300 Bright St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a battery; the victim stated the landlord’s daughter <\/span> attacked her. The victim said that <\/span> the suspect suddenly grabbed onto her hair, her body and her backpack before shaking her around. <\/span> The suspect retorted\u00a0that she was helping her mom, the landlord, to evict the victim due to unpaid rent issues. \u00a0At the point of the confrontation, the s<\/span>uspect stated she was trying to explain\u00a0to the victim that she was being given\u00a0a notice for not paying rent. The suspect was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
