Burglary \u2013 Shoplifting \u2013 Conspiracy \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 7:24 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 3200 20th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting in progress. Responding officers located the suspect among a group of people at a bus stop based on descriptions given by the witness, the store’s loss prevention agent.\u00a0The witness reported that\u00a0he observed a group of suspects enter\u00a0the store\u00a0and steal\u00a0approximately 10 Iphones that were on display. The witness confirmed that the suspect was among the group the officers located but did not recognize\u00a0the rest of the people\u00a0with the suspect. Officers detained the suspect and determined she was a juvenile. The suspect was transported to the Juvenile Justice Center and cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Burglary \u2013 Possession of stolen property \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 4:18 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 2400 23rd Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The victim reported\u00a0that he was woken up\u00a0by someone in the bedroom who picking up a backpack that belonged to the\u00a0his roommate. The victim attempted to detain him but the\u00a0suspect managed to get away. The victim told the officers that\u00a0suspect opened the locked box that was attached to the front door and used the key that was inside to open the front door. The victim’s roommate told the officers that his cell phone was also\u00a0missing\u00a0and the\u00a0officers were able to track the cell phone to the Tenderloin area. Officers contacted the officers in the Tenderloin area and advised them about the burglary and stolen phone that was being tracked.\u00a0The Tenderloin officers\u00a0located a suspect matching the description given. While talking to the\u00a0suspect, Taraval officers called the stolen cell phone number which immediately caused the suspect’s pocket to begin ringing. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported\u00a0that she had rented a room to\u00a0the suspect. The victim was having a conversation about the rent being due. However, an\u00a0argument ensued during the conversation in which the suspect got angry and punched the victim in\u00a0her face\u00a0before fleeing the scene.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n Confidential<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officer responded to a report of a domestic fight. When the officers arrived, the suspect was outside\u00a0and\u00a0told the officers that he and the victim were\u00a0having an argument over money and the possibility of a divorce. The victim told the officers that she was having an argument and the suspect threw a remote, which hit her hips. The officers also spoke to a witness, their daughter, who\u00a0confirmed that a remote was thrown. After learning that the suspect would be arrested, the victim recanted her story and saying that she never mentioned a remote being thrown. After further investigation the suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
