Auto Theft \u2013 Arrest<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Quintara St & 19th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nAs numerous vehicle breaks have\u00a0occurred at the\u00a016th Avenue Tiled Steps,\u00a0<\/span>officers were assigned to patrol the area. In this incidence, officers observed a Honda vehicle matching an auto burglary description. The officers observed the suspect in\u00a0the car\u00a0constantly scanning\u00a0both to the left and to the right of an\u00a0area while driving. Considering this suspicious behavior, the officers theorized that he\u00a0was looking for a vehicle to break into. The officers pulled the driver\u00a0over and detained him; a\u00a0search resulted in\u00a0burglary tools on the suspect\u00a0and a\u00a0records check confirmed the suspect was on felony probation. <\/span>The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n

Battery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Officers responded to a report of battery. The victim stated she was assaulted by her sister after an argument\u00a0and their father had to stop\u00a0the assault. After the incident, the\u00a0victim went to her room and called the police. The officers called for an ambulance to assess the victim for sustained injuries during the altercation. The victim stated she wanted the police to talk to her sister but refused to press charges against her sister.<\/span><\/p>\n

Domestic Abuse<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Officers responded to a call about a\u00a0domestic violence incident. A health practitioner stated she needed to report a domestic violence that occurred to her patient\u00a0but the\u00a0victim did not want to corporate or report it to\u00a0the police. The officers attempted to reach the victim through her cell phone and locate her whereabouts\u00a0but were\u00a0unable to contact the victim.<\/span><\/p>\n
