Shoplifting \u2013 Warrant Arrest \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 3:38 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1200 Irving St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter being detained by loss prevention. Loss prevention observed the suspect select multiple\u00a0bottles of alcohol, several knives\u00a0and\u00a0placed\u00a0them into the\u00a0suspect\u2019s pocket. The suspect then walked out of the store. A computer check on the suspect revealed that he had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Assault \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Confidential<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a domestic violence incident. The victim told the officers that he went drinking with the suspect\u00a0but the\u00a0two of them started arguing. It was reported that the suspect\u00a0threw a suite case at the victim and told her to pack up and leave. The suspect then punched her on the stomach. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Battery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 10:18 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 400 Lakeview Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim told the officer that the suspect, her daughter, had hit her. The suspect fled the scene prior the officer\u2019s arrival. Officers obtained an emergency protection order.<\/span><\/p>\n

Trespassing \u2013 Possession of Burglary Tools – Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 10:10 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1200 36th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a trespasser. The victim told the officers that he is selling the house and when he walked inside the house, he saw someone sleeping on the floor. \u00a0After waking up the suspect, responding officers located a\u00a0flat bar and lock picking keys on the suspect after a search. The suspect was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Defrauding a Taxi Driver<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 12:30<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Buckingham Way & 20th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n The victim reported a theft at Taraval Station. The victim, a taxi driver, told the officer that he had given a passenger a ride but the passenger did not have money to pay for the services. The victim said that he met up with the passenger again in hopes that he would get paid. However, the suspect was unable to withdraw\u00a0money from ATM and then fled the area.<\/span><\/p>\n

Battery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 9:40 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 3900 Judah St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim told the officers that he was sitting at the table, waiting for food, when the suspect approached him and stood very close by him\u00a0before challenging\u00a0the victim to a fight. The victim then attempted to strike the victim\u00a0and the\u00a0victim struck\u00a0back in self defense. Both parties\u00a0did not want\u00a0to file charges.<\/span><\/p>\n

Assault with a Gun \u2013 Possession of firearm \u2013 Traffic Collision \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 2200 36th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of shots fired. Responding officers located a vehicle that had been shot at and crashed into the medium. A witness pointed to a passenger that had gotten out of the vehicle and was walking down the street. Officers detained the passenger\u00a0was were told that while she\u00a0was in the passenger seat, she did not know who the driver was. Officers also located the victim who had been shot\u00a0and\u00a0determined that the victim and passenger were in the vehicle when the suspect shot at them. Officers searched the victim vehicle and located a fire arm inside. The victim was transported to SFGH. Once cleared by medical staff, the victim of this incident will be charged with possession of a firearm.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
