Warrant \u2013 Burglary Suspect \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 11:09 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Newcomb Ave & Phelps St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle, with expired registration tabs, double parked in traffic. Officers believed this vehicle to belonged to a wanted burglary suspect and\u00a0conducted a traffic stop. A check on the driver revealed two felony warrants for burglary. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Ocean Ave & Fairfield Way<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a trespasser. Officers observed the suspect sitting in public with an open, clear bottle in his right hand. The bottle was identified as an alcoholic beverage. A records check on the suspect revealed numerous traffic warrants. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n 100 Goethe St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report regarding domestic violence. The victim stated she and the suspect, who she was dating and in a relationship with, were arguing. The victim stated she was taking a taxi to her friend\u2019s house when she observed the suspect following behind her. After she arrived and entered her\u00a0friend\u2019s house, the suspect followed her inside, grabbed her purse from her and shoved her away. The suspect was not on scene when officers arrived.<\/span><\/p>\n

Theft \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Magellan Ave & Cortes Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report regarding a theft. The witness stated he observed the suspect walk up the stairs of a residence and pick up a cardboard box off the porch\u00a0and\u00a0tried to conceal the package under his jacket. Officers checked the area for the suspect and observed\u00a0a man fitting the description of the report walk into a book store\u00a0and\u00a0made contact before detaining him. Inside the suspects backpack was a new bronze faucet in a box. A records check revealed a warrant for drug charges and failure to register as a sex offender. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
