Robbery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Moraga St & 48th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were flagged down by the victim who stated she was involved in a robbery. The victim stated she was walking towards her vehicle when she was flagged down by the suspect. As the\u00a0victim walked towards the suspect, the suspect became violent and the victim raised both hands to protect her head. While doing so, the suspect grabbed the victim\u2019s cellular phone from her hand\u00a0and then\u00a0suspect fled the scene on foot.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shoplifting – Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 10:22 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1150 Ocean Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of shoplifting. Upon arrival, officers met with the store’s loss prevention agent. The agent stated he observed the suspect take several food items, heated them up and walked past the registers without paying for the items. The loss prevention agent approached the suspect outside of the store and detained\u00a0him in the store until the arrival of the officers. The suspect was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Shoplifting – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 8:30 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 3200 20th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report regarding a shoplifter. Upon arrival, officers met with the department\u2019s loss prevention agent. The agent stated that he observed the suspect carrying jackets and jeans from the department store into a dressing room. The suspect came out of the dressing room with the items after\u00a0using wire cutters to cut off the sensor tags on the clothing. Then, the suspect proceeded to exit the store without paying for the items. Several loss prevention agents approached the suspect outside of the store and detained\u00a0the suspect in\u00a0the store until the arrival of officers. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n 200 Winston Dr<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report regarding a possible robbery. Upon arrival, officers met with the department\u2019s loss prevention agent\u00a0who\u00a0stated that he observed the 3 suspects walk into the department store and browse. One of the suspects picked up 6 department merchandise items and ran out of the store without paying for them. The loss prevention agent followed the suspect and attempted to grab the items back when another\u00a0of the suspect\u00a0attempted to punch him. The suspects all got into a vehicle and fled the scene.<\/span><\/p>\n
