Theft from a Person \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/span><\/strong>

\n 9th Ave & Irving St<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\n Officer responded to a report of theft. The victim reported\u00a0that she and the suspect, her son, was downtown earlier in\u00a0day and\u00a0waiting for the bus\u00a0when her\u00a0son asked for\u00a0money to support his drug habit. The victim refused to give her son any money\u00a0but while\u00a0they were boarding the bus, the suspect stole\u00a0the victim\u2019s wallet from her purse. Later in\u00a0the day, the victim received\u00a0a phone call from the suspect who wanted\u00a0to know the pin number to her ATM card. The victim met with the suspect and they had an argument\u00a0which caused bystanders to\u00a0call the police. The suspect was later cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Shoplifting \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 3200 20th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter. Lost prevention agent stated\u00a0that he observed the suspect walk into the store and paced back and forth for a few minutes. Then, the suspect concealed some earphones and walked out of the store without paying for the merchandise. The suspect was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Assault \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 8:42 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 600 Capitol Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a domestic incident. Officers arrived on scene and the victim pointed to the suspect, who had tried to run him over with a vehicle. The officers initiated an investigation, placed the suspect\u00a0in cuffs and put her in the back of the patrol vehicle. During the\u00a0investigation, the suspect\u00a0was yelling and tried to kick out the glass window of\u00a0the patrol car. The victim told the officers that he was bring some clothes to over to his son when he started having an argument with the suspect. The suspect attempted to punch the victim, but missed. The suspect then got into her vehicle and pinned the victim between two cars. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Vehicle Tampering \u2013 Probation Violation \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/span><\/strong>

\n 2300 34th Ave<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers responded to a vehicle burglary. Officers arrived on scene and located a suspect matching the description given by a witness. Officers located the vehicle where the suspect had been in and determined it was stolen. The suspect told the officer that he had met a friend who led him to the vehicle and said\u00a0that he could have the items that were in the trunk. A computer check revealed that the suspect was on probation. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
