Assault – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 4:19 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 47th Ave & Judah St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of an assault.\u00a0Officers spoke to the victim who stated that the\u00a0suspect, her mother, cut her with a knife and tried to kill her. Officers placed the suspect in handcuffs before further investigation. The victim stated she tried to go inside her room when the suspect followed her inside and began throwing books at the victim. The\u00a0suspect then grabbed the victim around her\u00a0neck and began choking her. The victim pushed the suspect off in an effort to not lose consciousness. As the\u00a0victim tried to recover from the attack, the suspect went to the kitchen, grabbed two large knives, and began waving\u00a0the knives around. One of the knives hit the victim in her throat.\u00a0After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Violation of Restraining Order – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 17th Ave & Taraval St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report regarding a mentally disturbed person with a stick. Upon arrival, officers observed the suspect standing at the corner of the intersection, with a wooden stick in one hand. Officers asked the suspect to drop the stick and he complied. A record check on the suspect revealed the suspect had restraining orders at two locations and also that the\u00a0suspect was not allowed weapons, sticks, or canes without a doctor\u2019s prescription. Officers asked the suspect if he had a doctor\u2019s prescription and the suspect stated he did not. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Threats<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 4:30 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 700 Eucalyptus Dr<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report about threats. The\u00a0victim reported that he was out with his dog when another\u00a0dog\u00a0latched onto his dog. The victim and the 2nd dog’s owner were trying\u00a0to pry the canines\u00a0apart when a third dog ran over to the area. The victim pushed the third dog away because he was afraid the 3rd dog would also attack his dog. The 3rd dog’s owner threatened and attempted to physically attack the victim. The suspect was not at the scene when officers arrived.<\/span><\/p>\n

Robbery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 8:26 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Garfield & Ralston St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a robbery.\u00a0Officers spoke to the victim who reported that\u00a0he was walking to SFSU with his sound recording equipment in hand\u00a0when he\u00a0passed an unknown male, the suspect, who then followed the victim for one block. The victim stated that the\u00a0suspect asked him for the time and then simulated a handgun inside his jacket pocket before\u00a0demanded the victim\u2019s bag. The victim gave the suspect his bag and the suspect fled from the location on foot.<\/span><\/p>\n

Battery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 8:49 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Confidential<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of battery. Prior to arrival, dispatch informed officers that the victim claimed her boyfriend broke her finger. Upon arrival at the hospital, officers spoke with the victim and she became very uncooperative. When officers asked what happened to her finger, the victim stated she was \u201cpushed\u201d and then re-stated she \u201cfell”. As officers spoke with the victim, she walked away into the parking lot and\u00a0refused to disclose her boyfriend\u2019s name. The victim woke up with spontaneous finger pain the following morning and called for an ambulance. A computer search of the address revealed prior incidents involving the victim and suspect. The computer search also revealed the suspect was currently\u00a0on a felony probation.<\/span><\/p>\n
