Vehicle Violation \u2013 No Driver\u2019s License Issued \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 19th Ave & Winston Dr<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nDuring the\u00a0course of their daily duties, officers observed a vehicle without a license plate and an inoperable license plate light. Officers stopped the vehicle and a computer check on the driver revealed that she was never issued a driver’s license. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Sloat Blvd & 37th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers observed a vehicle with an inoperable tail light\u00a0and\u00a0stopped the vehicle. A computer check on the driver revealed that her license had been suspended and she did not have proof of insurance. The diver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Trespassing \u2013 Under the influence \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 3:44 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 700 Taraval St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a suspect holding scissors and yelling at people. Officers arrived on scene and located the suspect, who was observed to be unsteady on his feet\u00a0while\u00a0yelling with speech that was slurred\u00a0with a\u00a0pair\u00a0of\u00a0scissors protruded out of his back pocket.\u00a0Officers detained the suspect and removed the scissors without incident. The witness, a manager of the store, told the officers that he had escorted the suspect out of the store earlier because he was caught stealing beer\u00a0and\u00a0told him not to come back. The suspect was arrested and place in the detox cell for four hours and cited for trespassing.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Noriega St & 21St Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol and behind a vehicle when it failed to make a complete stop at a posted stop sign. The vehicle then approached 19th Ave and made a left turn from the left turning lane. Officer stopped the vehicle and a computer check revealed that he was never issued a driver\u2019s license. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Vandalism to Property \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/span><\/strong>

\n Judah St & 46th Ave<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\nWhile on patrol, officers located and identified a suspect\u00a0as the person who had damaged a glass door several days ago. The officers confirmed the suspect\u2019s identity and arrested him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers observed a vehicle with an expired registration. The officers stopped the vehicle and a computer check on the driver revealed her license had been suspended. The driver was also unable to show proof of insurance. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Burglary \u2013 Possession of Burglary Tools \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 12:10 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1500 Lincoln Way<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a burglary. Officers arrived on scene and observed the victims restraining\u00a0a suspect. One of the victims told the officers that when he arrived home at the apartment building, he noticed that the\u00a0hallway light was off. His roommate also came home and asked him why was his bike was in the front of the door and a wad of paper was\u00a0wedged against\u00a0the gate\u00a0and keeping the\u00a0door open. The victims called the police and while they were waiting for the officers, the suspect\u00a0through the\u00a0open door and grabbed the bicycle. The victims saw the suspect\u00a0and rushed to detained the suspect. Upon arrival, officers investigated the incident and a\u00a0search of the suspect’s person revealed wire cutter and drill bits. Afterwards, the suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
