Vehicle Violation \u2013 Suspended Driver\u2019s License- Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 2:10 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Buckingham Way & <\/span><\/strong>Winston <\/span><\/strong>Dr<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle in front of them with expired registration. Officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver also\u00a0did not have insurance. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Shoplifting \u2013 Resisting or Delaying Officers Duties – Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 9:05 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1500 Sloat Blvd<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter with the witness reporting that they were following the suspect in question.\u00a0Responding\u00a0officers located the suspect and detained him. After questioning, the\u00a0suspect admitted to shoplifting and that he\u00a0dropped the merchandise on the streets. Officers retrieved\u00a0the merchandise and returned it to the witness; the witness declined to press charges. While the suspect provided the officers with a false birthday,\u00a0officers were able to determine his true birthday\u00a0and\u00a0the suspect was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Assault \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Confidential<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute. The victim reported\u00a0that the suspect was at the house and\u00a0frustrated because they were unable to find their\u00a0paperwork. It was also reported that the suspect started yelling, pushing furniture and fixtures around because he was frustrated. During the incident, the suspect also pushed the victim.\u00a0Upon questioning,\u00a0the suspect refused to\u00a0not confirm or deny the incident. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Threats \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 7:46 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1800 Irving St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a suspect making threats to an employee. Officers arrived but\u00a0the suspect had already left the scene. The victim reported\u00a0that the suspect had been in the store previously\u00a0and was throwing items around at customers. The victim asked the suspect to leave which caused the suspect to\u00a0angrily yell and threaten to harm the victim\u00a0before\u00a0abruptly leaving\u00a0the store. A few hours later the suspect returned to the store\u00a0and was\u00a0detained by officers. The suspect admitted that he made the threats, but he didn\u2019t mean it. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Theft of a Computer \u2013 Resisting or Delaying Officers Duties \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1:04 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1200 Irving St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a theft of a laptop. The victim stated\u00a0that he had left his laptop on the table at the food area of the grocery store to use the restroom. When the victim returned, he reported\u00a0the suspect had taken\u00a0his laptop and fled the scene. Several\u00a0units responded to the area\u00a0and\u00a0the suspect was located by a Lieutenant,\u00a0who had to give chase for about\u00a010 blocks after the suspect. Once in custody, the laptop was also located with the suspect.\u00a0The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Battery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 5:07 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 28th Ave & Rivera St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Victim reported\u00a0to Taraval Station regarding a known suspect who had punched her. The victim told the officers that the suspect had\u00a0a warrant for his arrest and was\u00a0currently on probation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Assault \u2013 Attempted Homicide with a Gun – Arrested<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\n 7:32 am<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\n 3000 22nd Ave<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\n Officer responded to a report of gun shots\u00a0and multiple\u00a0officers responded to the scene. The victim reported\u00a0that the suspect, his girlfriend\u2019s ex-husband approached him and fired a several\u00a0shots towards him. Fearful but not injured, the\u00a0victim fled back into the garage and hid while the suspect fled the scene.\u00a0During the course of the investigation, Taraval TNT team located the suspect and arrested him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
