Resisting or Obstructing Peace Officers Duty \u2013 Traffic Violation \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 8:28 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Noriega St & 14th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers observed a vehicle that was stopped but idling and did not have\u00a0any\u00a0license plates. The officers initiated a traffic stop\u00a0and\u00a0approached the vehicle to observe a thick white cloud of smoke, which smelled of burnt marijuana,\u00a0exiting the passenger’s side window. Officers gathered the occupant\u2019s information and a\u00a0computer check revealed that one of the occupants in the vehicle gave false information\u00a0about his identity. The driver of the vehicle was cited for not having license plates on his vehicle and released along with one other passenger. The passenger who lied about his identity was transported to Taraval\u00a0station, where officers learn his true identity<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0cited him for obstructing officer\u2019s duties.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shoplifting \u2013 Parole Violation \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 3200 20th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter. The witness, a loss prevention agent of the store, reported\u00a0that he recognized the suspect who had entered\u00a0as the same suspect who had also shoplifted\u00a0at a different store. The witness stated that he kept\u00a0watch on the suspect and observed him take three items of merchandise before\u00a0exiting the store and not\u00a0paying for them. The witness confronted the suspect and escorted him to the responding officers for investigation. As the\u00a0suspect was acting both aggressively and strangely,\u00a0the suspect was taken to the hospital for assessment\u00a0before being\u00a0arrested for the shoplifting and parole violation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Stay Away Order \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 3200 Irving St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a stay away order violation. Officers arrived on scene and detained the suspect matching the description given by the victim. The victim stated\u00a0that she heard a knock on the door earlier in the morning and heard the suspect asking to be let in. The responding\u00a0officers confirmed that the victim had\u00a0a current stay away order against\u00a0the suspect and arrested the suspect for the violation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
