Discharging a Fire Arm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 4:20 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 400 Head St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to information of shots being fired,\u00a0which was reported from an\u00a0unknown witness\u00a0who observed\u00a0the suspect fire approximately six shots into the air. Responding officers\u00a0searched the area and located shell casings in front of the building\u00a0but there have been no further\u00a0reports of injuries or damages related to the\u00a0incident.<\/span><\/p>\n

Driving While under the Influence \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 600 Lincoln Way<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report of\u00a0an unsafe driver hitting parked cars.\u00a0Responding officers located\u00a0the vehicle stationary\u00a0in the middle of a\u00a0gas station with the engine running.\u00a0Responding officers approached the\u00a0driver and observed the driver unconscious behind the steering wheel with an\u00a0open bottle of beer in the cup holder next to him. A strong odor of alcohol was also observed to be emanating from inside the vehicle. Officers successfully made contact with the driver and the driver exited the vehicle but refused to cooperate with the officer’s investigations or sobriety tests but eventually submitted to a breathalyzer test.\u00a0\u00a0The driver was also heard muttering that\u00a0this incident was his fourth DUI and that he was out on bail from a DUI in Placer County. A witness reported that he observed\u00a0 the vehicle driving in an erratic manner; the vehicle entered the\u00a0opposite lane of traffic while running\u00a0stop signs and stop lights\u00a0and\u00a0also hit a parked car. After further investigation, <\/span>the driver was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Robbery \u2013 Assault \u2013 Resisting – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 8:05 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 500 Buckingham Way<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of\u00a0an attempted robbery.\u00a0The victim\u00a0reported\u00a0that he was at the ATM making a transaction when he felt something on his lower back. Turning around, the victim saw that the suspect\u00a0was holding\u00a0something wrapped in a shirt and pointing it at him. The suspect demanded money, but the victim froze in fear\u00a0which angered the suspect and caused\u00a0him to fire several shots at the victim.\u00a0The victim felt something hit him on the forehead and realized that it was pellets from a BB gun. The victim\u00a0angrily\u00a0started to chase\u00a0after the suspect\u00a0before the\u00a0suspect jumped into a waiting vehicle and fled the scene.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Responding officers located the suspect in the area of Sunset Blvd and Wawona St. after a search and observed the getaway vehicle. While persuing\u00a0suspect\u2019s vehicle, the officers observed the vehicle run a stop light and strike\u00a0another vehicle. Both suspects then attempted to flee the scene on foot and one suspect was observed to throw a firearm, later determined to be a BB replica gun, onto the ground\u00a0as he fled. Officers gave chase and both suspects were apprehended. After further investigation, it was\u00a0determined that the suspect’s vehicle was also stolen.\u00a0<\/span>Both suspects were arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n
