Traffic Violation \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 19th Ave & Crespi Dr<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a non injury, vehicle collision. While assisting in the exchange of information, officers learned that one of the drivers did not have a valid driver\u2019s license. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Trespassing \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 5:14 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 300 Santiago St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a prowler at a location with a history of a squatter trespassing at an empty house. A witness reported to\u00a0the officers that he saw lights on inside the building. Responding officers\u00a0located a suspect that was asleep inside the house. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Shoplifting \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 8:50 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 2900 San Jose Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a verbal argument. The witness, a clerk, told the officers that she observed\u00a0the suspect walk into the store and steal\u00a0several items. Responding officers detained the suspect upon arrival and after further investigation,\u00a0cited her.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Aided Case – Warrant Arrest \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 5:59 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 700 Irving St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a person who had intentionally doused himself with lighter fluid. Officer arrived on scene and located the subject. The subject stated that\u00a0he had head lice and wanted to use the lighter fluid to get rid of them. An ambulance was contacted and the subject\u00a0was taken to the hospital for mental evaluation and aid. A computer check also revealed a warrant for his arrest.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Robbery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 5:07 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Ocean Ave & Clearfield Dr<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Victim approached a Lieutenant and told him that someone had tried to rob him. The victim reported\u00a0that he was walking on the sidewalk, with his phone in his hand, when he was approached by a suspect. The suspect demanded the victim\u2019s phone, but the victim\u00a0ignored him. The suspect then lifted up his sweatshirt and\u00a0revealed the grip of what the victim believed to be the handle to a gun. Fearful, the\u00a0victim immediately\u00a0ran off and located the police.<\/span><\/p>\n
