Driving While Under the Influence \u2013 Traffic Violation \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle, with damages to the rear of the vehicle, that was parked partly on top of the\u00a0sidewalk. Despite the vehicle\u00a0still running, the\u00a0driver exited the car\u00a0and started walking towards the officers. The driver stated that\u00a0he was driving to a friend\u2019s house\u00a0but had gotten\u00a0lost. At one point, the driver was distracted and looked down and struck another vehicle.\u00a0\u00a0While speaking with the officers, it was observed that the driver\u00a0exhibited\u00a0watery, bloodshot eyes and there was a the odor of a\u00a0strong alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath. A witness reported that she was inside her house when\u00a0she heard a crash and looked out to see\u00a0that her vehicle had been damaged\u00a0by the driver.\u00a0Officers conducted a field sobriety test, which the driver failed. After failing several more sobriety tests, the driver was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers responded to a location\u00a0regarding a possible road rage incident. The victim had called 911 regarding a suspect driving erratically into a\u00a0gas station and then yelling at people inside the gas station. Officers arrived on scene and located the vehicle and suspect. The suspect had taken several items out of his vehicle and was in the process of getting it vacuumed. The officers asked the suspect if he was involved in an altercation\u00a0and were told that the suspect\u00a0was in a\u00a0disagreement with someone earlier, but the other party had already driven\u00a0away. While speaking to the suspect, the officer smelled the distinct odor of unburnt marijuana emanating from the suspect’s person and from the vehicle. When questioned, the\u00a0suspect admitted to having marijuana\u00a0inside his vehicle. However, when officers\u00a0opened the door, they \u00a0located a clear plastic baggie with what appeared to be cocaine and multiple\u00a0pills\u00a0and\u00a0a loaded firearm. The officers contacted the narcotics unit and obtained a search warrant for the suspect\u2019s house. The officers executed the search warrant and located additional narcotic and ammunition at the suspect’s house. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers responded to a report of a suspect breaking in. The witness reported\u00a0that he was jogging when he saw a suspect trying to break into a vehicle.\u00a0Responding officers located the suspect\u00a0and were\u00a0told that the suspect’s\u00a0friend had lent him the vehicle, but the keys were stolen. The suspect also said\u00a0that he had\u00a0his property inside the vehicle. A computer check on the vehicle revealed that it had been stolen. Officers contacted the victim of the vehicle\u00a0who responded that\u00a0the suspect had been his roommate and he had stolen the keys. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
