Battery \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Officers responded to a report of a battery. The witness reported\u00a0that they were helping their friend move\u00a0when the landlord started yelling because the room was not up to her standard of cleanliness. During the confrontation, the landlord was reported to have also slapped the\u00a0friend while yelling at her. In response, the landlord reported\u00a0that she was poked on her nose three times during the confrontation. After further investigation\u00a0of\u00a0the incident,\u00a0both parties were cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim reported that she had just returned home from visiting her family\u00a0when the suspect confronted her.\u00a0The suspect was reported to have\u00a0grabbed the victim on her head, causing injury and bleeding, and also snatching the victim’s phone before smashing it on the ground. After further investigation, the\u00a0suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Traffic Violation \u2013 False Registration \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 2700 37th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol and observed a suspicious vehicle in front of them. Despite having a current registration tab displayed on the vehicle, a computer check revealed that the registration actually expired in 2015. Officers conducted a traffic stop and detained the driver\u00a0who admitted that\u00a0the registration tabs on his vehicle were\u00a0stolen. The driver was cited and the vehicle towed.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
