Traffic Stop \u2013 Methamphetamine Possession – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 18th Ave & Taraval St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle with expired registration tabs which was confirmed after a records check of\u00a0the vehicle. The officers observed the vehicle make\u00a0several turns after which the driver, the suspect, parked in a yellow zone and exited the vehicle before walking across the street. The officers activated their vehicle lights and conducted a traffic enforcement stop before locating and detaining the suspect. A search of<\/span>\u00a0the suspect\u2019s vehicle located a bag which contained a large amount of suspected methamphetamine. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers responded to a report regarding a fight on a Muni Bus. Responding\u00a0officers met with the victim who stated that he was seated in the rear of the bus when the suspect with a knife approached him and ordered the victim\u00a0to give him money. The victim stated he attempted to flee from the suspect. The victim also stated that the suspect chased him around the bus before\u00a0the suspect exited the bus and entered into another vehicle.<\/span><\/p>\n

Stay Away Order \u2013 Theft<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 100 Brighton Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of an incident regarding a violation of an\u00a0emergency protective order. Responding officers spoke with the victim who stated that the suspect violated an emergency protective order by entering her house. The suspect,\u00a0using his keys to enter, \u00a0stole\u00a0her dog, her California ID card and several other items. The victim was advised to immediately change all the locks in the house since the suspect was still in possession of the current keys.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n
