Vehicle Tampering \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 11:40 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 300 Magellan Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person who was trying to open a vehicle’s door. The victim reported to\u00a0the responding officers that he was driving when he saw the suspect trying to open a\u00a0rear passenger door. The suspect started to walk away from the vehicle but frequently looked behind him once he observed the victim was watching him. At one point, the suspect attempted to hide behind a bush by suddenly kneeling down near\u00a0it. Responding officers located the suspect and\u00a0<\/span>conducted a computer check which\u00a0revealed\u00a0that the suspect had entered an unlocked vehicle earlier in the day\u00a0and stole some change. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Robbery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Lee Ave & Ocean Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victims reported\u00a0that they were walking when two suspects pushed them from behind\u00a0before demanding\u00a0their cell phones. The victims reported that\u00a0they hesitated and the suspects pulled out what looked like a gun before pointing it at them.\u00a0The suspects then fled the scene.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vehicle Violation \u2013 No Driver\u2019s License Issued<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Ocean Ave & Woodacre<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers observed a vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign. Officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he did not have a\u00a0driver\u2019s license issued to him. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Battery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 12:47 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 3800 Noriega St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim told the officers that he was standing in line when a suspect approached him and challenged\u00a0him to a fight outside. The victim said that he didn\u2019t want to go out with him, but the suspect implied he had a gun. Once outside, the suspect punched the victim and left the location.\u00a0A witness told the officer that it appeared that the suspect and victim seemed to know each other.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers observed a vehicle without\u00a0tail lights\u00a0and\u00a0conducted a traffic stop. A computer check on the driver revealed that he was not issued a\u00a0driver\u2019s license. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers observed a vehicle that did not stop at a stop sign. Officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he was not issued a driver\u2019s license. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
