\nIn an ongoing investigation, SIT sergeant and officers conducted a search warrant on a person of interest’s home regarding a shoplifting incident and were successful in locating several items of interest. <\/span><\/p>\n

No Driver\u2019s License Issued \u2013 Traffic Violation \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 19th Ave & Eucalyptus Dr<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers observed a vehicle with expired registration. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been expired for over\u00a030 days. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

False Evidence of Vehicle Registration – arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 9:37 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 34th Ave & Judah St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers conducted random checks on vehicles\u00a0and located\u00a0a vehicle\u2019s registration had expired\u00a0despite displaying a\u00a0current and valid registration on the vehicle. Officers conducted a traffic stop and the driver stated\u00a0that he\u00a0had obtained another registration tab to put on his vehicle. A computer check on the driver also revealed that he was on probation. The driver was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n 200 Country Club Dr<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a couple\u00a0fighting. Responding officers spoke to a\u00a0witness who stated that she observed the couple arguing with each other which then escalated to the two pushing, scratching and choking each other. Officers located the couple, who stated that they were on vacation and only pushed at each other.\u00a0<\/span>After further investigation, both suspects were arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
