The department combines key homeless serving programs and contracts from the Department of Public Health (DPH), the Human Services Agency (HSA), the Mayor\u2019s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD), and the Department of Children Youth and Their Families (DCYF). This consolidated department has a singular focus on preventing and ending homelessness for people in San Francisco.&#8221;\u00a0 <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/dhsh.sfgov.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/dhsh.sfgov.org\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing has created an e-mail address to report encampments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:reporthomelessencampments@sfgov.org\">reporthomelessencampments@sfgov.org<\/a>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">is for anyone who wants to report a homeless encampments only.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">When Reporting, note the following<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1)\u00a0Location (be exact,\u00a0note structures or landmark<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> 2) date and time of notice<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> 3) approx. number of people&#8211;for resource deployment, shelter resource, navigation center demand<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> 4) belongings&#8211;lots, few, number of tents&#8211;for resource deployment, flat-beds, debris containers, DPW etc.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> 5) evidence of dangerousness&#8211;aggressive behavior, arguments, physical altercations, domestic violence, etc. For worker safety and awareness.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> 6) evidence of severe mental illness as presented by the following behaviors: 1) individual who self-talks. 2) Individual who gesticulates. 3) extremely poor hygiene.
