Traffic Violation \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Chester Ave & Randolph St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle with a malfunctioning brake light. Officers conducted a traffic stop while\u00a0the vehicle continued to drive off. Officers then observed the vehicle drive past a stop sign, U-turn, and parallel park. Officers approached the vehicle as\u00a0the suspect swung open the door\u00a0and\u00a0began yelling profanities at officers. While refusing to corporate with officers, the suspect attempted to reach for something despite being asked\u00a0to keep his hands visible. Fearful of danger, the officers removed the suspect from the vehicle and placed him in handcuffs. The suspect was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Robbery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Officers responded to a report regarding a possible robbery incident.\u00a0Responding officers spoke with the victim, who displayed multiple injuries, and were told that the victim\u00a0was intoxicated the previous\u00a0night when he was struck from behind and lost consciousness. When he awoke, the\u00a0victim reported that there was\u00a0$150 missing\u00a0from his pockets.\u00a0The victim stated he did not make a report to the police and he was feeling drunk from drinking earlier in the morning.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n 3200 20th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report regarding battery. Responding officers\u00a0spoke with the victim who reported\u00a0she was dining with her friend when she observed an unknown female glaring at her from a booth. The victim stated that the\u00a0suspect then told her she was speaking too loudly. The victim attempted to locate a worker to relocate their seat\u00a0but the suspect then confronted the victim while yelling obscenities before slapping the victim on the cheek. The suspect fled the scene.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers responded to a report regarding domestic violence. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who stated he wanted to document a domestic violence incident between himself\u00a0and his wife. The victim stated his wife suspected\u00a0him of cheating and attempted to check the messages on his phone. The victim\u00a0refused to give her the phone and his wife bit him on his lower back and tackled him. <\/span><\/p>\n
