Driving Under the Influence \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 500 Capitol Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report regarding a drunk driver. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victim who reported\u00a0that the suspect had hit his vehicle twice. The victim stated he observed the suspect hitting his vehicle from his window and yelled at the suspect to stop. The victim then\u00a0ran downstairs and helped the suspect on his feet\u00a0before helping to\u00a0move the suspect\u2019s vehicle onto his driveway because it was blocking the road. The suspect was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Shoplifting – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 20th Ave & Buckingham Way<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report regarding a shoplifting arrest. Upon arrival, officers met with the department\u2019s loss prevention\u00a0who reported that\u00a0he observed the suspect grab a handful of clothing items before\u00a0walk past open registers and attempting to exit the store. The suspect was detained and the police were contacted. Officers arrived and ran a records check on the suspect, which revealed\u00a0two warrants for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers were on patrol when they observe a vehicle with a broken brake light on the driver’s side.\u00a0Officers conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle\u00a0and a\u00a0records check on the driver revealed that the driver\u2019s license was suspended. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle failing to\u00a0stop at a posted stop sign. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the suspect who\u00a0stated he had his driver\u2019s license recently taken away. A records check confirmed that\u00a0the suspect was driving on a suspended license. The suspect was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
