Robbery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n600 Lincoln Way (occurred in the Southern District)<\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report regarding a robbery at gunpoint. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victims who reported\u00a0that they were robbed at gunpoint. The victims stated that the\u00a0suspect was holding a handgun while\u00a0pointing it at the victim\u2019s stomach. The victims gave the suspect their\u00a0belongings and the suspect then left the area on foot.<\/span><\/p>\n

Domestic Abuse – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Officers responded to a report regarding a family disturbance. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that she and the suspect had an argument\u00a0about going to\u00a0dinner. The victim reported that\u00a0the suspect became angry and threw his cellphone at her, from across the room, before walking towards her\u00a0and picking\u00a0her up by her arms. The victim stated she was dragged into the bedroom and thrown onto the edge of the bed which caused her to fall\u00a0violently to the floor. The victim\u00a0was successful in\u00a0escaping\u00a0and grabbed her cellphone to call the police. The suspect was located in the basement attempting to conceal himself under several\u00a0cardboard boxes. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n 200 Miramar Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report regarding a battery incident. Responding\u00a0officers met with the victim, who stated she observed the suspect attempting to open several car doors by pulling on their\u00a0handles. The victim stated the suspect attempted to open the victim\u2019s vehicle\u00a0also. When confronted, the suspect began yelling profanities at the victim and punched the victim on\u00a0her arms. The victim stated she took a photo of the suspect and the suspect fled the scene. While interviewing the victim, the suspect returned to the scene and was identified by the victim. The suspect was cited for battery.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
