Assault \u2013 Warrant Arrest \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 9:21 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 200 West Portal Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of an assault. Responding officers located the victim, who appeared to be intoxicated, and an ambulance was summoned for medical attention. The victim appeared to have been pepper sprayed and also hit on the head with a bottle, which officers also located.\u00a0A computer check revealed the victim had a warrant for his arrest. The victim was transport to SFGH for treatment and being released, the victim was\u00a0arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n 200 Holloway Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a trespasser. The owner of the building and a potential buyer went to the building and observed\u00a0the\u00a0suspect, who had worked in the building previously.\u00a0The suspect was told not to return because the business was closed but\u00a0the suspect had broken into the now empty business. Responding officers\u00a0located the suspect and cited him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Robbery with a knife \u2013 Possession of Narcotics Paraphernalia \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 9:42 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1700 Ocean Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim, the manager, told the officers that he noticed a suspicious person lingering inside the store. The suspect was moving things around in the aisle and causing a mess. The suspect then went to the candy display and took a candy bar. The victim confronted the suspect\u00a0but the\u00a0suspect pulled out a knife and threatened to stab the victim\u00a0before fleeing the scene.\u00a0Responding officers located the suspect\u00a0and a\u00a0search of the suspect revealed a knife and a candy wrapper, which was confirmed as the stolen item from earlier.\u00a0Officers also located a meth pipe. The suspect was arrested<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shoplifting \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 9:53 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1700 Ocean Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were at the location for a prior incident when the witness, an employee, reported a\u00a0shoplifter. The witness told the officers that he saw the suspect take an item and walked out of the store without paying. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Possession of Stolen Property with knowledge \u2013 Theft – False identification – Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 6:30 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1300 La Playa St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers observed a suspect examining a package on\u00a0the sidewalk. When the suspect noticed the officers, the package was quickly hidden and the suspect started walking away from the approaching officers.\u00a0Officers detained the suspect and located an open container of alcohol along with a package. When questioned, the suspect verbally provided\u00a0a false identification. After determining the suspect’s real name, the package was confirmed to have\u00a0been stolen. The suspect was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers were flagged down by security regarding a suspect that was trespassing and would not leave despite being asked three times. \u00a0The suspect also\u00a0using a computer that was supposed to be used by tenants of the building.\u00a0The suspect was cited for trespassing.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
